Safety assurance is the independent verification that what your safety management system says on paper is actually happening on site. It sits above day-to-day compliance: checking that procedures are fit for the work, that competence is real rather than recorded, and that the controls you rely on would hold up under scrutiny — from a regulator, a client audit or an incident investigation.

We provide that verification for organisations in high-hazard industry, either as a one-off audit, as support during a specific campaign or shutdown, or as ongoing advisory support to an internal HSE function.

H&S Consultancy

Independent health and safety advice for operators, principal contractors and specialist subcontractors. Ongoing advisory support, competent-person duties under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, and support with client and regulator queries.

Safety Audits & Site Inspections

Independent audits against ISO 45001, SSIP core criteria, client HSE requirements and your own management system. Site safety inspections covering permit-to-work, isolation, competence, plant and equipment — reported with photographic evidence, risk-rated findings and a prioritised action plan.

Lifting & Working-at-Height Procedural Review

Specialist review of lifting and working-at-height procedures, lift planning documentation, rescue plans, competence records and equipment inspection regimes. Reviewed against LOLER 1998, BS 7121, PUWER, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the IRATA by someone qualified in all of them.

Task-based, site-specific and dynamic risk assessments, plus review of existing assessments for adequacy and suitability. Compliance gap analysis against applicable regulations, with a clear picture of where you stand and what needs closing.

Structured root-cause investigation and formal reporting for incidents, near-misses and high-potential events — establishing what happened, why the controls failed, and what will actually prevent recurrence. Reports written to withstand client and regulator scrutiny.

Safety Management Systems

Behavioural Safety
