North East England - Our Operational Base
S.L.R.A.S are based in the North East of England, at the centre of the UK's energy and heavy-industry corridor. We work daily across Teesside, Tyneside, Wearside, County Durham, Northumberland and North Yorkshire, and mobilise nationally and offshore for planned campaigns and urgent call-outs.

Our base gives us direct access to some of the UK’s most concentrated industrial infrastructure – the Teesside chemical and process cluster at Wilton, Seal Sands and Billingham; the offshore wind supply chain at Teesworks, the Port of Blyth and the Port of Tyne; and the shipyards, quaysides and heavy engineering sites along the Tyne, Wear and Tees.
Being local matters on this kind of work. It means a site survey within days rather than weeks, teams that already know the access constraints and permit systems on major sites, and genuine short-notice mobilisation when something goes wrong.

Contract Lifting & Crane Hire
Fully managed contract lifts, CPA crane hire, lift plan development and machinery relocation – planned by a qualified Appointed Person in accordance with LOLER and BS 7121.
Industrial Rope Access
IRATA-supervised rope access for inspection, NDT support, fabric maintenance, industrial cleaning and coating, cladding and roofing, and fall-arrest installation.
Safety Assurance
Independent site safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, procedural reviews and management system support for high-risk industry.
